Join the Amazon team in Fresno as a Part-time Warehouse Sorter for our fast-paced weekend operations. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort packages and items according to designated routes and categories.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, after proper training.
- Verify accuracy of sorted items against shipping labels and manifests.
- Load and unload packages from trailers and conveyor belts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Identify and report any damaged items or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and timely package flow.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 49 pounds for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Basic literacy skills to read and interpret labels and instructions.
- Dependability and punctuality for scheduled weekend shifts.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
