Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bank Teller for our night shift operations in Boise. This role is crucial for providing essential banking services to our customers during extended hours. As a Night Shift Bank Teller, you will be the front line of our bank, handling transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and secure banking experience. This position offers a differential pay rate for working during the night hours, acknowledging your commitment and flexibility. Key Responsibilities
- Process a variety of banking transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing checks.
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are reconciled.
- Assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information on bank products and services.
- Maintain a high level of customer confidentiality and adhere to all bank policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and refer customers to appropriate banking specialists.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Perform opening and closing duties for the branch as required for the night shift.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in cash handling or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Availability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bank teller or in a financial services environment.
- Familiarity with banking software and systems.
- Ability to speak a second language (e.g., Spanish) is a plus.
- Associate's degree or some college coursework.
