Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and creative Social Media Strategist with a strong focus on Google Performance to join our remote team. This role is pivotal in developing and executing social media strategies that not only drive engagement and brand awareness but also directly contribute to measurable performance goals through integration with Google’s advertising ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in social media platforms, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and have a proven track record of optimizing social campaigns for conversion and ROI. You will be responsible for translating client business objectives into actionable social media strategies, managing campaigns, analyzing performance data, and providing actionable insights to continuously improve results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client business objectives and Google performance metrics.
  • Design and execute social media campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok), integrating with Google Ads where appropriate.
  • Conduct thorough audience research, competitive analysis, and trend identification to inform strategic planning.
  • Manage social media advertising budgets, ensuring optimal allocation for maximum ROI, with a focus on conversion-driven performance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media campaign performance using advanced analytics tools, including Google Analytics and platform-specific insights.
  • Collaborate with SEO, SEM, and content teams to ensure integrated digital marketing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for A/B testing and experimentation to continuously optimize campaign performance.
  • Stay current with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and Google advertising best practices.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Develop engaging and relevant content ideas, working with creative teams to bring them to life.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in social media strategy and performance marketing.
  • Proven expertise in managing paid social media campaigns with a focus on direct response and lead generation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Ads (Search, Display, Video) and its integration with social campaigns.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Analytics for tracking, reporting, and deriving insights from social media traffic and conversions.
  • Experience with major social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, X Ads, TikTok Ads).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Google Ads certification (Search, Display, Measurement).
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
  • Experience working with agency clients across diverse industries.
