Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Services Specialist to join our growing team. This is a crucial role focused on supporting financial advisors and clients with a variety of operational and administrative tasks, ensuring seamless service delivery. You will play a key part in client onboarding, account maintenance, transaction processing, and general client support. This is a remote position, open to candidates across all states, allowing you to contribute to a nationally recognized financial institution from your home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Process client service requests, including new account openings, transfers, and account updates, accurately and efficiently.
- Assist financial advisors with preparing client presentations, reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, providing clear, concise, and professional assistance.
- Reconcile client accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Facilitate communication between clients, advisors, and various internal departments.
- Stay informed of industry regulations, company policies, and product offerings.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and improve the client experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial services, customer service, or a related administrative role.
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FINRA, SEC).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- FINRA Series 7 and/or Series 66 licenses.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and financial planning tools.
- Previous experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
