Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Immunization Tech Aide to join our team in Santa Ana. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about public health and eager to contribute to community wellness. Comprehensive training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with no prior experience in immunization. You will play a vital role in supporting vaccine clinics, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed healthcare professionals with vaccine administration, including preparing vaccination sites and documenting procedures.
  • Greet and register patients, verifying their identification and scheduling information.
  • Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding vaccine procedures and aftercare instructions.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions post-vaccination, escalating concerns to nursing staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vaccine clinic areas, including sanitizing workstations and restocking supplies.
  • Accurately record patient data and immunization details in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient clinic flow and patient satisfaction.
