Job Description
Are you a pet enthusiast with a keen eye for detail? PetSmart is seeking enthusiastic Mystery Shoppers to evaluate the customer experience in our Oakhurst, Decatur stores. This flexible, part-time role allows you to combine your love for animals with providing valuable feedback that helps us improve our services and ensure every pet parent receives exceptional care. You’ll anonymously visit our locations, interact with staff, observe store conditions, and report your findings through a structured survey.
Key Responsibilities
- Anonymously visit assigned PetSmart stores within the Oakhurst, Decatur area as per project guidelines.
- Engage with store associates to inquire about products, services (e.g., grooming, training, vet services), and promotions.
- Observe and report on store cleanliness, organization, product availability, and overall ambiance.
- Evaluate staff knowledge, friendliness, professionalism, and adherence to customer service standards.
- Complete detailed online surveys and reports within specified deadlines after each visit, providing objective and accurate feedback.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all mystery shopping activities, instructions, and findings.
- Adhere to all guidelines and instructions provided for each shopping assignment to ensure consistent data collection.
Required Skills
- Strong observational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication skills for clear, concise, and objective reporting.
- Ability to act discreetly and professionally during store visits.
- Reliable access to transportation for visiting various store locations within the designated area.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and reliable internet access for online reporting.
- A genuine love for animals and a basic understanding of pet parent needs and expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in mystery shopping, customer service evaluation, or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with PetSmart products, services, and store operations.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varying store visit times, including occasional evenings or weekends.
- Resides within the Oakhurst, Decatur, GA area for convenient travel to store locations.
