Job Description

As an Event Transportation Lead specializing in Multi-car Coordination, you will be instrumental in planning, executing, and overseeing all transportation logistics for various events, ensuring seamless movement of vehicles, equipment, and personnel. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage complex schedules and multiple resources simultaneously. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive transportation plans, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement detailed multi-car transportation plans for a diverse range of events.
  • Manage a fleet of vehicles and a team of drivers, ensuring optimal routing and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with event organizers, vendors, and internal departments to understand transportation needs and execute plans efficiently.
  • Monitor real-time transportation operations, addressing any issues or deviations promptly and effectively.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles meet safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation logs, expenses, and incident reports.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise transportation staff, fostering a high-performance team environment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
  • Conduct post-event analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

  • Experience with large-scale event coordination or complex multi-vehicle movements.
  • Knowledge of local transportation regulations in North Carolina.
