Job Description
We are seeking a warm, reliable, and proactive Nanny Assistant / Mother’s Helper to provide invaluable support to a family in Gilbert, Arizona. This flexible, part-time position is perfect for someone eager to assist a busy parent with childcare and light household duties. The ideal candidate will be a positive presence, able to engage with children effectively, and capable of handling various tasks to create a smooth and organized home environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist parent with supervising children during playtime, homework, and daily routines.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and creative play.
- Prepare light meals and snacks for children.
- Help with children's laundry and tidying up play areas/bedrooms.
- Run errands as needed (e.g., grocery shopping, post office).
- Support the parent in maintaining a clean and organized household environment.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children.
Required Skills
- Proven reliability and punctuality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and a loving demeanor towards children
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Basic first aid knowledge (or willingness to learn)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare (babysitting, daycare, camp counselor)
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- References from previous childcare roles
