Job Description

Henry Ford Health System is offering an exceptional opportunity for individuals to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). We are actively seeking dedicated and compassionate CNA Trainees for our local clinic in Midtown Detroit. In this unique program, we cover 100% of the costs associated with your CNA certification, providing you with the training, resources, and support needed to succeed. No prior healthcare experience is required – just a strong desire to learn and contribute to patient care. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to enter the medical field and build a foundational career with a leading healthcare provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all required CNA training and coursework.
- Learn and apply fundamental patient care skills under the supervision of licensed nurses.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Help patients with mobility, transferring, and positioning.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and patient privacy regulations (HIPAA).
