Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for precision and a solid understanding of IKEA furniture? Assembly Solutions Seattle is seeking an “IKEA Wardrobe Hinge Fitter” to join our team on a contract basis. This role is perfect for a quick specialist tasker who can efficiently diagnose and resolve hinge-related issues on IKEA wardrobes, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment. You will be responsible for traveling to client homes, assessing wardrobe conditions, and performing expert adjustments or replacements of hinges with speed and accuracy. This is an on-site, hands-on position requiring a keen eye and reliable execution for quick turnaround projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various client locations within Seattle and surrounding areas to perform on-site hinge fitting and adjustment tasks for IKEA wardrobes.
- Accurately diagnose issues related to wardrobe door alignment and hinge functionality.
- Execute precise adjustments, repairs, or replacements of IKEA wardrobe hinges and associated hardware.
- Ensure all wardrobe doors are perfectly aligned, open, and close smoothly after service.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding the service process and estimated completion times.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area in clients' homes, cleaning up thoroughly upon job completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards for all service calls.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency in using basic hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, levels, etc.).
- Demonstrable knowledge and familiarity with IKEA wardrobe systems, particularly hinge mechanisms and door types.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in mechanical tasks.
