Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a High School Greet & Seat – Restaurant Hosting team member! This entry-level position is perfect for high school students eager to gain valuable customer service experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your friendly demeanor, organizational skills, and ability to manage seating arrangements efficiently will be crucial to our success. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals who are ready to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. Flexible schedules are available to accommodate school commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests as they enter and thank them as they leave the restaurant.
  • Manage the waitlist and seating chart, ensuring efficient table turnover.
  • Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and inform them of their server's name.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, take reservations, and assist with guest inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed to support the dining room staff.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Address guest concerns and requests professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly.
  • Basic organizational skills and attention to detail.
