Job Description
Are you 17 years old, energetic, and looking for an exciting part-time opportunity to get started in the workforce? UPS is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teen Courier Runners to support our fast-paced delivery operations in various city locations within Land O’ Lakes, FL. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior couriers with package loading and unloading at designated stops.
- Safely and efficiently transport small packages and documents between local businesses and residential addresses within specified city zones.
- Follow established delivery routes and schedules with precision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage.
Required Skills
- Must be 17 years of age.
- Possess a valid State of Florida Learner's Permit or Driver's License.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 lbs consistently.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High energy level and ability to remain active for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or active role is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with the Land O' Lakes, FL area and its city locations.
