Job Description
Are you meticulously organized with an eye for detail? Next Home is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Cupboard Inventory Taker to join our growing home organization team. This unique role involves methodically cataloging the contents of kitchen cupboards for our clients, supporting them in achieving optimal home organization. You will be responsible for creating detailed inventories, identifying items, and providing foundational data that assists our Home Organization Specialists in designing customized storage solutions. This is a crucial role for individuals who thrive on structure and precision, directly contributing to our mission of simplifying and enhancing our customers’ homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to client homes within the Stoke-on-Trent area to perform on-site kitchen cupboard inventories.
- Systematically list all items found within kitchen cupboards, drawers, and pantry areas.
- Categorize and accurately count items, noting any specific details (e.g., brand, size, condition).
- Utilize digital tools or provided templates to record inventory data efficiently.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and privacy guidelines while working in client homes.
- Collaborate with Home Organization Specialists to ensure inventory data meets project requirements.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times in client environments.
- Provide basic observations on current storage solutions that might impact organization strategies (e.g., cluttered areas, underutilized space).
- Assist in developing improved inventory processes and reporting methods.
