Job Description
XPO Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dedicated Lane Trucker to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This full-time position offers a guaranteed minimum weekly pay, ensuring stability and peace of mind for our drivers. You will be responsible for transporting freight along a consistent, predetermined route, providing reliable service to our dedicated customers. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) on a dedicated route.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
- Accurately complete logbooks and other required documentation.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper working order of the assigned truck.
- Handle freight with care, ensuring secure loading and unloading.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Excellent driving and safety record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specific freight types (e.g., dry van, refrigerated).
- Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement.
- Tanker endorsement.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- High school diploma or GED.
