Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and supervision of children.
- Engage children in educational and recreational play, both indoors and outdoors.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Support children's social and emotional development through positive interactions.
- Assist with meal and snack times, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions.
- Communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents under guidance.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Genuine love for children and a desire to contribute to their development.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures.
- Ability to pass a background check and health screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior informal experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, volunteering, family care).
- Basic knowledge of child development stages.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain quickly).
