Job Description
Join Turner Construction Company as an Entry Level Site Marshall and play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and organized construction site in Brooklyn, NY. This position is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in construction safety and site management, with a focus on learning and adherence to established protocols. As a Site Marshall, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground, ensuring smooth operations, managing site access, and supporting the safety team in preventing incidents. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points to the construction site, verifying credentials for all personnel and visitors.
- Direct pedestrian and vehicle traffic safely around the site, minimizing congestion and hazards.
- Conduct regular site walks to identify and report potential safety hazards or non-compliance issues to the safety team.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear pathways and proper storage of materials.
- Communicate site rules and safety regulations to workers and visitors, reinforcing a culture of safety.
- Respond to and report any incidents, accidents, or emergencies promptly and accurately.
- Support the site management team with various logistical tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to give clear directions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform duties on a construction site for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of safety principles or a strong willingness to learn and apply them.

Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety certification.
- Previous experience in a security, logistics, or outdoor work environment.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
