Job Description
Join the Macy’s team as a High School Sales Clerk in our Boutique Gift Shop section! This entry-level, part-time position is perfect for high school students looking to gain valuable retail experience in a dynamic and friendly environment. You will be responsible for assisting customers, processing sales, and maintaining the visual appeal of our curated gift collections. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor in the gift shop area.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gift shop displays and merchandise.
- Restock shelves and ensure products are neatly arranged and priced correctly.
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
- Assist with inventory counts and receiving new shipments as needed.
- Support visual merchandising efforts to create appealing product presentations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues or escalate to management when necessary.
