Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring professional to join Microsoft as a Career Development Aide with a strong focus on HR Technology. In this 100% remote role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our HR and learning teams, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative career growth programs and HR tech solutions. You will assist with data analysis, platform management, and communication strategies to ensure our employees have access to the best tools and resources for their professional journey. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the intersection of human resources and technology, eager to learn and grow within a dynamic global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of HR technology platforms related to career development and learning initiatives.
- Support the creation, editing, and distribution of career development resources and communications to employees globally.
- Conduct data entry, analysis, and reporting to track program effectiveness, employee engagement, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR business partners, learning specialists, and IT teams to troubleshoot system issues and suggest enhancements to HR tech tools.
- Help organize and facilitate virtual workshops, training sessions, and career events, ensuring smooth execution and participant engagement.
- Research and stay updated on emerging HR tech trends, best practices in career development, and innovative learning methodologies.
- Provide general administrative support to the career development team, including scheduling, document management, and inquiry resolution.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in Human Resources, specifically career development and HR technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for data management, Word for documentation, PowerPoint for presentations, Outlook for communication).
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a remote, globally distributed team.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience with data visualization tools or basic reporting functions.
- Understanding of career development principles, talent management strategies, or adult learning theories.
