Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled PVC Baseboard Gluer to join our installation team specializing in modern home finishes. This role is essential for delivering high-quality, durable, and aesthetically pleasing baseboard installations in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to precision, and an understanding of contemporary design principles. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, accurately cutting and fitting PVC baseboards, and applying adhesives to ensure a flawless and long-lasting finish. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for baseboard installation, including cleaning, sanding, and ensuring proper adhesion.
- Measure, cut, and fit PVC baseboard materials to exact specifications, accounting for corners, curves, and obstacles.
- Apply appropriate adhesives and sealants for secure and waterproof baseboard installation.
- Ensure all baseboards are level, plumb, and seamlessly joined for a professional finish.
- Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company standards.
- Collaborate with other team members and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in using measuring tools (tape measures, levels, squares) accurately.
- Experience with various cutting tools, including miter saws and utility knives.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical dexterity and stamina to perform manual tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of different adhesive types and their proper application.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience specifically with PVC or plastic baseboard installation.
