Job Description
Join the Electronic Arts team as an EA Sports QA Aide! As a QA Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and playability of our next-generation EA Sports titles by performing basic testing, identifying bugs, and providing clear, concise feedback to our development teams. Key Responsibilities
- Execute pre-defined test cases thoroughly to identify defects in game software.
- Document and report bugs, glitches, and other issues using internal tracking tools with accuracy and clarity.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure that resolved issues do not re-emerge.
- Communicate effectively with QA Leads and other team members regarding testing progress and discovered issues.
- Follow test plans and project schedules diligently.
- Provide constructive feedback on game functionality, user experience, and overall quality.
- Adhere to all company guidelines and security protocols related to game testing and intellectual property.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot subtle inconsistencies.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with standard office software.
- A genuine passion for video games, especially sports titles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with various game platforms (consoles, PC).
- Previous experience in a role requiring high attention to detail (e.g., data entry, proofreading).
- Knowledge of current EA Sports titles.
