Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analytics Specialist with a strong focus on AI and Business Intelligence to join our dynamic team in Pomona, CA. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, driving strategic decisions, and optimizing business performance. You will leverage advanced analytical techniques, machine learning, and AI models to uncover trends, predict outcomes, and provide data-backed recommendations to various stakeholders. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between data science and practical business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust data models, ETL processes, and dashboards to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Utilize advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets and identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered analytical solutions to automate data processing and insight generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all analytical processes and reporting.
- Stay current with industry best practices in data analytics, AI, and business intelligence tools and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift).
- Strong experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight).
- Demonstrated experience with Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) and their applications.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, Athena).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
