Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient Packer to join our team in Gulfport, Mississippi. This crucial role involves carefully and quickly preparing various goods for shipment, ensuring they meet our strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack items into appropriate containers, boxes, or crates according to specified guidelines.
- Verify product counts and ensure all items are included in the shipment.
- Apply labels, manifest, and shipping documents correctly.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate basic packing equipment and tools safely.
- Meet or exceed daily packing quotas and efficiency targets.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve collective goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, or logistics role.
