Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally professional and personable Receptionist to be the welcoming face of Google’s Sheffield office. This vital role is the first point of contact for all visitors and callers, requiring a polished demeanor, impeccable organizational skills, and a proactive approach. You will manage the front desk operations from Monday to Friday, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for everyone interacting with our office. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them efficiently and taking messages accurately.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain the reception area's tidiness and professional appearance.
  • Schedule and manage meeting room bookings, ensuring rooms are prepared and tidy.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and preparing documents.
  • Coordinate with facilities management for office maintenance and supplies.
  • Provide general information to visitors and callers about Google.
  • Support event coordination within the office as needed.
  • Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
