Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine chemical and physical analyses on samples according to established procedures.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples for testing.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in troubleshooting laboratory equipment and method issues.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all quality control and quality assurance standards.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of chemical principles and laboratory techniques.
- Proficiency in basic laboratory equipment operation (e.g., pH meters, balances, centrifuges).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (academic or internship) in a laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) or ISO standards.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, or Spectroscopy.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
