Job Description
Join Walgreens as a Pharmacy Call Center Representative, specializing in chat support. This unique role focuses entirely on providing exceptional customer service through digital channels, addressing inquiries, and offering support related to pharmacy services, prescriptions, and general health and wellness information. You will NOT be involved in dispensing medication or direct pharmacy operations. Instead, your expertise will shine in assisting our customers with their needs via chat, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. We are looking for empathetic, detail-oriented individuals with excellent written communication skills who are passionate about helping others.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers via live chat to resolve inquiries regarding prescriptions, order status, pharmacy services, and general health questions.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on Walgreens products, services, and policies.
- Assist customers with navigating the Walgreens website and mobile app.
- Document all customer interactions accurately and thoroughly in the CRM system.
- Escalate complex issues to senior representatives or appropriate departments when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all customer interactions.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and company privacy policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective customer support.
Required Skills
- Excellent written communication and grammar skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in typing and navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple chat conversations.

- Basic knowledge of pharmacy terminology or willingness to learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a call center, chat support, or customer service role.
- Familiarity with CRM software and chat platforms.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
