Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various customer locations within the Gloucester area.
- Efficiently and accurately assemble IKEA clothes rails according to provided instructions.
- Safely and securely install clothes rails in customer homes, ensuring stability and correct placement.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any questions.
- Manage your schedule and appointments effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area, leaving the customer's home spotless after installation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with common hand and power tools (drills, screwdrivers, levels, etc.).
- Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow complex assembly instructions and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise and secure installations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driving license.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience specifically with IKEA furniture assembly and installation.
- Prior experience in general handyman services, carpentry, or furniture installation.
