Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Specialist to join our dynamic professional services team in Soho, London. This role is crucial as you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, setting the tone for their experience with Deloitte. You will manage the reception area, provide administrative support, and ensure smooth daily operations, contributing significantly to our professional image and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area, ensuring a professional ambiance.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Schedule and coordinate meeting rooms, ensuring they are set up and prepared for use.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Provide support for events and internal meetings, including guest registration and catering coordination.
  • Handle client inquiries and provide general information about the firm's services.
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols by managing visitor sign-in and badging procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure seamless operational flow.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, reception, or administrative support role, preferably within a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-line phone systems and office management software.
  • A diploma or degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in an additional language relevant to our international clientele.
