Job Description
Join Greggs as a Morning Shift Crew member and start your day bright and early at 6am, leaving your afternoons free! This role is perfect for early birds who thrive in a fast-paced environment and love providing exceptional customer service. You’ll play a vital part in preparing our delicious baked goods and ensuring our shop is ready for the day’s first customers in Sheffield.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening the shop and setting up for daily operations.
- Baking and preparing a variety of food items to Greggs' standards.
- Serving customers with a friendly and efficient manner.
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the shop.
- Stocking shelves and ensuring product availability.
- Working as part of a team to ensure smooth service.
Required Skills
- Reliable and punctual, able to consistently start work at 6am.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly disposition.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Enthusiastic, positive, and proactive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced retail, catering, or food service environment.
- Basic understanding or certification in food hygiene practices.
