Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Home Support Scribe to join our global support team. In this remote role, you will play a crucial part in documenting customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions, ensuring clear and accurate records for our support services worldwide. This position is ideal for individuals with strong listening and typing skills, attention to detail, and a passion for assisting users globally from the comfort of their home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document customer interactions, technical problems, and solutions in real-time during support calls or chats.
- Transcribe detailed notes regarding user inquiries, diagnostic steps taken, and troubleshooting processes.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to company standards and regulatory requirements for data privacy and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with support agents and technical teams to clarify information and ensure comprehensive record accuracy.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information.
- Manage multiple concurrent documentation tasks efficiently without compromising quality or detail.
- Contribute to improving documentation processes and tools by providing feedback and suggestions.
Required Skills
- Exceptional listening comprehension and ability to quickly synthesize information.
- High-level typing proficiency (minimum 60 WPM with high accuracy).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of technical support processes and terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a remote support, transcription, or data entry role.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or helpdesk software.
- Experience working in a global or multicultural team environment.
- Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus, though not required for English-speaking role.
- Certification in administrative support or data management.
