Job Description
Are you passionate about college football and have a keen eye for detail? Electronic Arts is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Peak Work Testers to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and playability of our highly anticipated EA Sports College Football title. You will work closely with our development teams to identify and report bugs, provide valuable feedback on gameplay mechanics, and help us deliver an authentic and immersive experience for our players. This is a temporary, seasonal position designed to support our peak development cycle, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a major sports title.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and procedures to identify bugs, glitches, and other issues within the EA Sports College Football game.
- Accurately document, categorize, and prioritize bugs using an issue tracking system.
- Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, user interface, and overall user experience.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure the stability of new game builds.
- Collaborate with game designers, programmers, and other testers to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Conduct regression testing to confirm resolved issues do not reappear.
- Perform compatibility testing across various platforms and configurations.
- Participate in daily team stand-ups and provide progress updates.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for college football and sports video games.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify subtle discrepancies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear bug reporting.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and test plans.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA) preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality assurance or game testing (personal or professional).
