Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Bulk Order Sorter to join our distribution center team in New Port Richey, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate sorting, scanning, and movement of bulk orders and packages within our state-of-the-art facility. This is a critical role that ensures the smooth flow of goods, directly contributing to our promise of fast and reliable delivery. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately sort and scan incoming and outgoing bulk packages and freight.
  • Efficiently load and unload trucks and containers, following established safety procedures.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, as needed (training provided).
  • Identify and report any damaged or irregular packages.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and accuracy goals.
  • Perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods, maintaining focus on task details.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and scanning.
  • Basic computer literacy for scanning equipment and internal systems.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all operational guidelines.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Experience operating pallet jacks or similar material handling equipment.
