Job Description
Join our Global Recruitment Program for an exciting opportunity as a Fruit Picker in the beautiful and productive agricultural regions of the UK. As a Fruit Picker, you will be an integral part of the harvest team, ensuring the timely and careful collection of various fruits for distribution to markets across the UK and beyond. Key Responsibilities
- Harvesting a variety of fruits, including but not limited to berries, apples, and soft fruits, following specific quality and picking guidelines.
- Carefully handling produce to prevent bruising or damage.
- Meeting daily picking targets while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Working effectively as part of a team to ensure efficient harvesting operations.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on the farm.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Reporting any issues with crop quality or equipment to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (sun, rain, wind).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic English communication skills.
