Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Azure Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic remote team. This is a crucial role for individuals passionate about cloud technology, problem-solving, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to Microsoft Azure services, ensuring our enterprise clients experience minimal disruption and maximum performance. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical support for Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, PaaS, and Identity.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues through a combination of troubleshooting, research, and collaboration with internal engineering teams.
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and chat, providing clear explanations and timely updates.
- Document all support interactions, resolutions, and knowledge base articles for future reference.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide critical incident response as needed.
- Collaborate with product teams to provide feedback on product issues and contribute to continuous service improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and features.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support or system administration roles focused on cloud platforms.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems.
- Proficiency with PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation and diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices for incident and problem management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or other relevant Azure certifications.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) in Azure.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
