Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and observant Apparel Fitting Room Auditor to join our team at our Chula Vista location. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and organization of our fitting rooms, minimizing merchandise loss, and contributing to an excellent customer experience. This position focuses on loss prevention and maintaining high standards within the apparel departments, playing a key part in the overall efficiency and security of our retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly monitor and audit fitting room areas for unreturned merchandise, misplaced items, and general cleanliness.
- Identify and report suspicious activities or behaviors in and around fitting rooms to management or loss prevention personnel.
- Ensure all merchandise taken into fitting rooms is properly accounted for upon exit.
- Assist in maintaining organized and efficient fitting room operations, including returning merchandise to the sales floor.
- Document and report discrepancies, damages, or potential security risks found within the fitting room area.
- Collaborate with sales associates and management to uphold store standards and loss prevention policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with shoppers, offering assistance as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic understanding of retail operations and loss prevention principles.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail, loss prevention, or a security role.
- Familiarity with inventory management or auditing processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
