Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Cello Instructor to join our esteemed private academy. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated musician to impart their knowledge and passion for the cello to students of various ages and abilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality, individualized instruction, nurturing students’ musical growth, and inspiring a lifelong appreciation for music. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert one-on-one cello instruction to students of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's goals, learning style, and progress.
- Teach fundamental cello techniques, music theory, sight-reading, intonation, and performance practices.
- Introduce students to a diverse repertoire spanning various musical periods and genres.
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, competitions, and examinations as appropriate.
- Communicate regularly with students and, for younger learners, their parents, regarding progress and practice expectations.
- Maintain a professional and encouraging learning environment.
- Track student attendance and progress diligently.
- Participate in occasional academy recitals or events as a supportive faculty member.
