Job Description

We are seeking a highly meticulous and analytical Data Integrity Specialist to join our innovative AI Precision team in Missoula, Montana. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and accuracy of data essential for developing, training, and validating our cutting-edge AI models. You will play a crucial part in maintaining data consistency, identifying discrepancies, and implementing robust data governance practices to guarantee the reliability and performance of our AI solutions. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a fundamental understanding of data’s importance in AI development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive data validation and cleansing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of datasets used for AI models.
  • Develop and implement data quality checks, rules, and procedures to prevent and resolve data integrity issues.
  • Identify, investigate, and rectify data discrepancies and errors using various tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and product managers to understand data requirements and improve data pipelines.
  • Document data sources, data flows, data transformations, and data quality metrics.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance policies and standards.
  • Monitor data quality trends and report on findings, recommending proactive measures to enhance data integrity.
  • Provide training and support to team members on data quality best practices and tools.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices in data management, data quality, and AI data needs.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in data quality, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of data governance principles.
  • Familiarity with data structures and database concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and how data quality impacts model performance.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools and master data management (MDM) principles.
