Job Description
Are you a passionate football (soccer) fan and an avid player of EA Sports FC? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a keen eye for detail? Electronic Arts is seeking an EA Sports FC 24/25 Associate with a specific focus on weekend overtime to join our quality assurance and game experience team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality and most authentic football experience for millions of players globally. This position requires dedicated focus during weekend hours to thoroughly test game features, identify bugs, and provide detailed feedback on gameplay, mechanics, and overall user experience for the upcoming EA Sports FC titles.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality assurance testing on EA Sports FC 24/25 game builds, focusing heavily on weekend shifts.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies in gameplay, graphics, audio, and user interface.
- Provide detailed, actionable feedback on game mechanics, player experience, and potential improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand design intentions and test plans.
- Execute test cases and follow established test procedures diligently.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to report progress and discuss findings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EA Sports FC features, modes, and competitive landscape.
- Commit to a work schedule that includes significant weekend hours, with opportunities for overtime.
Required Skills
- Proven passion for football/soccer and extensive experience playing EA Sports FC (formerly FIFA) titles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify subtle inconsistencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with various gaming platforms (e.g., PlayStation, Xbox, PC).
- Availability to work consistent weekend hours and potential for overtime.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use bug tracking software (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in game testing or quality assurance is a plus.
- Familiarity with various game modes in EA Sports FC (e.g., Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Pro Clubs).
- Experience using bug reporting tools such as Jira or similar.
- A strong understanding of game development cycles.
- Degree or certification in a related field (e.g., Game Design, Computer Science).
