Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FedEx Custom Critical Aide with a High Level Support focus to join our team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation and exceptional service delivery for our most time-sensitive and critical shipments. You will provide essential administrative and operational support, working closely with dispatchers, drivers, and clients to resolve complex issues, coordinate logistics, and maintain precise records. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent problem-solving abilities, and is dedicated to upholding FedEx’s commitment to reliability and customer satisfaction for critical deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced administrative and operational support to the Custom Critical team, focusing on high-priority and complex shipments.
- Monitor critical shipments from pickup to delivery, proactively identifying potential delays or issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, drivers, clients, and internal departments to ensure clear understanding and timely resolution of critical situations.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with a professional demeanor, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving service issues related to Custom Critical shipments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all shipment activities, communications, and resolutions in the system.
- Assist with data entry, report generation, and analysis to support operational efficiency and service improvements.
- Escalate unresolved complex issues to appropriate management levels while providing comprehensive background information.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and continuously seek opportunities for process enhancements within Custom Critical operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume administrative, logistics, or customer support role, preferably within transportation or supply chain.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to act decisively under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience with FedEx operations or similar expedited freight services.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) or similar logistics software.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
