Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and high-energy individuals to join our team as an Entry Level Warehouse Runner in Jersey City. This is a crucial role for our operations, ensuring the swift and accurate movement of packages and materials within our busy warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently move packages, pallets, and materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring all items are handled with care and according to safety protocols.
- Sort and stage packages for outbound shipments, verifying accuracy against manifests.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and organizing stock.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
- Operate in a physically demanding environment, requiring frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or physically demanding role (even if not professional).
- Ability to operate a pallet jack (training provided).
