Job Description

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking dedicated In-Home Support Associates to provide essential care and companionship to clients in their homes in Burlington, VT. Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are observed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying living areas, laundry, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure clients adhere to their prescribed schedules.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities to promote their well-being.
- Observe and document client's physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients in their homes.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Required Skills

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Physical ability to assist clients with personal care and mobility.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a caregiving role (informal or formal) is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification is a bonus, but not required.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
