Job Description
Are you a budding graphic designer with a passion for visual storytelling and an eagerness to build a stellar portfolio? Moment Factory is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our remote team. In this role, you will work on exciting projects, potentially including promotional materials, visual assets, and branding elements for major entertainment clients, some of which may align with the visual identity and aesthetic standards of leading streaming services like Netflix. This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience, hone your skills, and develop a portfolio that truly stands out. You will be mentored by experienced designers and contribute to high-impact creative initiatives from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of visual assets for various digital and print platforms, ensuring brand consistency and high quality.
- Develop concepts and designs for marketing campaigns, social media content, presentations, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with senior designers and creative directors to refine designs and implement feedback effectively.
- Research current design trends and techniques to keep our visuals fresh and innovative.
- Prepare design files for production and ensure all assets meet technical specifications.
- Maintain an organized library of design assets and project files.
- Contribute fresh ideas and creative solutions during brainstorming sessions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A portfolio showcasing design potential and personal projects (student work is welcome).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with motion graphics (After Effects) or UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana or Trello.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
