Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Member Experience Agent to join our dynamic team in Memphis. In this immediate hire role, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued members, providing outstanding service and support across various banking functions. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for members, assisting with inquiries, transactions, and account management both in-person and over the phone.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify member needs and cross-sell appropriate credit union products and services, such as loans, savings accounts, and digital banking solutions.
  • Resolve member complaints and issues with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex cases as necessary.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, as well as credit union policies.
  • Assist members with online banking, mobile app usage, and other digital services.
  • Actively participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and service skills.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, banking, or a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a credit union or bank setting.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
  • Experience with financial software systems (e.g., Fiserv, Symitar).
