Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mobile Detailing Offsider – Exterior Hand-Wash Pro to join our dynamic team in Calgary. This role is crucial to our mobile detailing service, focusing on delivering top-tier exterior hand-washing and detailing services directly to our clients’ locations. As an Offsider, you will work closely with our lead detailers, assisting with all aspects of exterior cleaning, ensuring every vehicle meets Ming Shine’s rigorous standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for automotive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform meticulous exterior hand-washing, rinsing, and drying of vehicles.
- Apply waxes, sealants, and paint protection products under supervision.
- Clean and dress tires, rims, and wheel wells.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of mobile detailing equipment at various client locations.
- Ensure all detailing products and tools are maintained, cleaned, and properly stored.
- Inspect vehicles post-wash to ensure all quality standards are met and no imperfections remain.
- Assist with interior vacuuming and basic wipe-downs as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car washing or basic automotive detailing.
- Familiarity with various detailing products and techniques.
- Knowledge of vehicle care and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
