Job Description
Are you a Work-From-Home mom looking for a meaningful part-time opportunity that fits perfectly into your schedule? BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Morning Caregiver to provide essential support to our clients from 8 AM to 12 PM, Monday through Friday. This role is ideal for someone who wants to contribute positively to their community while maintaining flexibility for their family life. You will provide non-medical care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities, ensuring our clients start their day with dignity and comfort. Make a real impact in someone’s life, right here in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with morning routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve breakfast, ensuring proper nutrition and dietary needs are met.
- Provide medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in light conversation and activities.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up common areas and laundry.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper safety techniques.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for the client.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy demeanor.
- Ability to perform duties independently and follow care plans.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a caregiving role (personal or professional).
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience with individuals with specific health conditions (e.g., dementia, mobility issues).
