Job Description
Are you a mom with a passion for gaming and a knack for detail? Do you find yourself offering unsolicited feedback to game developers in your head? Xbox Game Studios is seeking enthusiastic and observant individuals to join our team as Online Game Feedback Agents. This flexible, part-time, 100% remote role is specifically designed to accommodate your busy schedule, allowing you to contribute valuable insights from the comfort of your home. You will play a crucial role in improving the quality and enjoyment of our upcoming game titles by providing detailed, constructive feedback on gameplay, features, and user experience. If you love games and have a keen eye for what makes them great (or not so great), we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Actively play pre-release versions of various video games across different genres.
- Provide comprehensive and constructive written feedback on gameplay mechanics, user interface, story elements, and overall player experience.
- Identify and document potential bugs, glitches, or design flaws with clear, actionable descriptions.
- Participate in online surveys and discussions to offer deeper insights into game features and player preferences.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all unreleased game content and project information.
- Adhere to project deadlines and communication guidelines set by the feedback team.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for video games and familiarity with various gaming platforms and genres.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to articulate feedback clearly and concisely.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to identify subtle nuances in gameplay.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with online communication tools.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable environment for focused game testing.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet feedback objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in game testing, quality assurance (QA), or user experience (UX) feedback.
- Experience playing games on Xbox consoles, PC, or mobile platforms.
- Ability to analyze game design and offer suggestions for improvement based on player psychology.
- Familiarity with collaborative online platforms or bug tracking software.
- Experience balancing multiple priorities and managing flexible schedules.
