Job Description

Target Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order Desk Assistant to join our remote team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders and providing essential administrative support. As an Order Desk Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for order-related inquiries, manage data entry, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our customer service operations. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the specified regions, contributing to a seamless customer experience for one of America’s most beloved brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and delivery schedules via phone and email.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all order transactions and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, and inventory teams to resolve order-related issues.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and report generation.
  • Identify and escalate complex customer issues to appropriate departments for resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to order processing and customer service.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
