Job Description
Are you bursting with creative ideas and eager to bring them to life? Elegant Events Group is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Party & Event Decorator to join our team in Rotherham as a Junior Creative Role. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with little to no prior experience but a strong desire to learn the art and science of event decoration. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to the visual magic that makes our events truly special. This role is hands-on and requires a keen eye for detail, a willingness to get stuck in, and a natural flair for design.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior decorators with the preparation, setup, and dismantling of event decorations.
- Handle and care for a variety of decorative elements, including fabrics, flowers, props, lighting, and signage.
- Contribute creative ideas and solutions during brainstorming sessions and on-site setup.
- Ensure all decorations are installed safely, securely, and according to design specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop, storage areas, and event sites.
- Support logistics, including packing and unpacking decor items for transport.
- Learn and apply best practices in event design, execution, and client satisfaction.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move decorative elements

- Basic understanding of design principles or colour theory
- Experience with manual tasks or hands-on projects
- Full UK driving license (helpful for travel to event sites)
