Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Pharmacy Administrative Aide to join our team in Wesley Chapel, FL. In this pivotal support role, you will assist pharmacy management with various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our pharmacy. This position is ideal for an individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for contributing to a healthcare environment. You will be a key part of our commitment to providing exceptional patient care by supporting the behind-the-scenes processes that make it all possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize pharmacy records, both physical and digital, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for pharmacy management.
  • Prepare and process various reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls and emails, with professionalism.
  • Coordinate meetings, including room setup, agenda distribution, and minute-taking.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment for the pharmacy department.
  • Support compliance with regulatory requirements by organizing necessary documentation.
  • Assist in onboarding new pharmacy staff by preparing administrative materials.
  • Perform general clerical duties as needed to support pharmacy operations.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Basic understanding of office procedures and administrative tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology or pharmacy operations.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Associate's degree or relevant certification in administration.
