Job Description
Join GDI Integrated Facility Services as a Police Cruiser Washer, playing a crucial role in maintaining the operational readiness and public image of our municipal police force in Pickering. This secure, full-time position involves the thorough cleaning and detailing of police vehicles, ensuring they are pristine and ready for duty. You will work under a stable municipal contract, contributing to public safety by keeping essential service vehicles in top condition. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform exterior washing, waxing, and polishing of police cruisers.
- Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors, including vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning windows.
- Sanitize frequently touched surfaces within the cruisers.
- Empty waste receptacles and maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas.
- Inspect vehicles for missed spots and ensure all cleaning standards are met.
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Report any damages or unusual conditions found on vehicles to supervision.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Basic understanding of cleaning products and techniques.
- Reliability and punctuality.
