Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Manager to join our team, focusing on the intersection of our digital marketing strategies, specifically leveraging the Pinterest platform, and enhancing our internal employee benefits experience, including medical and 401k programs. This unique role requires a blend of consumer-facing platform understanding and internal product development expertise. You will be responsible for defining, executing, and launching products that drive engagement and value for both our customers and our employees. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, from marketing and engineering to HR and benefits, to deliver impactful solutions that align with T-Mobile’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Pinterest platform integrations, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and brand objectives.
- Oversee the development and enhancement of internal tools and platforms related to employee medical benefits and 401k programs, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and user studies to identify opportunities and inform product decisions for both external platform usage and internal HR tech solutions.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and user stories, working closely with engineering, design, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to maximize the effectiveness of Pinterest as a channel for customer acquisition, engagement, and brand storytelling.
- Work with HR and benefits administrators to understand evolving needs and regulatory requirements for medical and 401k platforms, ensuring compliance and best-in-class solutions.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and driving iterative enhancements.
- Communicate product updates, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the Pinterest platform and internal benefits systems, staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of launching successful digital products.
- Demonstrated experience with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies, ideally with specific knowledge of Pinterest's ecosystem (e.g., APIs, advertising tools, content strategies).
- Experience in developing or managing internal tools, HR technology, or benefits platforms (e.g., medical, 401k, compensation systems).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven product decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Prior experience in the telecommunications or a fast-paced technology industry.
- Experience with A/B testing, user research, and customer journey mapping.
- Certifications in product management (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic Marketing).
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits.
